Accccckk!! I leave tomorrow morning at crack-of-dawn o'clock for LA! Trying to hurriedly finish packing, scrapping and umpteen other things that are on my "to-do" list that MUST be done before I go!
I apologize for not putting up the "official" sneak of BG yesterday - so to try and make up for it, here's day 4 AND day 5....Day 5 being the new AMAZING FILE SET! Omgosh, I can't tell you all how excited I am for this file set. It's the grooviest scrapping gadget since I don't know when - it makes getting in all those tiny grooves of wee pieces of chipboard a piece of cake! I LOVE them. They are a definate must have and I know they'll be one of the hits of the show!
For those of you traveling - BE SAFE and see you soon! :D

It's LAYOUT time!!
I can finally share some layouts for CHA I did featuring the four new BasicGrey lines! :D YAY!! I've been dying to do this!! I'll put up four here (one from each line) and you can find more if you're interested in my gallery at 2 peas: Kelly Goree. I hope you all love these new lines as much as I do!
HUGE Thank you to my wonderful friends (Caro Huot, Suzy Plantamura, Christi Spadoni, Amy Howe, Dana Smith, Melissa Ackermann and Sue Travassos) for letting me use the pics of their daughters/nieces/cousins, etc. You all rock and have SUCH beautiful little ones!

A couple of 1sts
Today was quite a day for me. Not only was this the first day I got to play with Bella ;), this was the first day I was able to walk away from my regular job and work full-time in the scrapbooking industry. Today I am completely full-time with BasicGrey. Truly I feel like I am living a dream and that someone is going to pinch me and I'll wake up. I'm beyond excited and can't wait for CHA to see so many online friends!
So here are the firsts from Bella:
I made my poor Ethan go posing with me (he was soooo happy about it can you tell? ;)) so that I could try her out. I can't even tell you how much I love this camera!
I hope you all are having a wonderful day too - only 3 more wake-ups til the show! :D

Day Three!
Welcome Scarlet's Letter - probably my favorite of the four new lines. It's sooooooo elegant and for those of you who have been waiting for something to replace the Black Tie line, I think this is it for you! It's truly stunning with the most gorgeous reds you'll ever see ;) Hope you love it like I do and stay tuned for Day 4! :D

Each day - Monday through Friday will have special sneak peeks of BG's upcoming products/lines for the CHA Winter show!
Yesterday we released a peek at the gorgeous victorian inspired STELLA RUBY line. Today, it is PERHAPS, with beautiful pinks and greens set off by the perfect, well, BasicGrey! :)
And as promised, no later than Friday, I will be posting my own work with examples of these amazing lines. I hope you'll come back often and check it out!
Have a fabulous Tuesday - I know I will....my baby, Bella, comes home today ;)

Mama's got a new BABY!!!
And it's a girl and I'm going to call her Bella...cause she's SOOOOOO pretty! ;) Ok, so humor me a little! I'm not really having a baby (HA!) but tonight I finally purchased my digital SLR camera! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stinkin' excited!!
Let me explain my joy here. Ever since I started scrapbooking professionally almost 3 years ago, my one goal, my dream goal, was to save up enough money to get my "fancy" camera. I can still remember my girlfriend Robin earning hers and it the thought was so amazing to me that I could actually do that, so it became my goal too. And well, for some reason or another, even though I could have gotten one some time ago, it just never happened.
But tonight, it's MINE it's MINE it's MINE!!!! :D I'm now the proud owner of a Canon Digital Rebel XT 8.0MP SLR camera! (Move over just a little, Carson, Mama has a new baby now! ;))

QUACK!
or uh, should I say RIBBIT??! (That's for you, Joanna! ;))
It's so wet and rainy here today with no relief in site, so I got the bright idea to take the boys out for a little puddle splashing, but as you can see from the hesitation at the edge of the puddle, they apparently didn't want to get wet! Strange kids! Hope your day is a bit brighter!

Happy 2007!!
I just love a New Year! I love a fresh new start, a new beginning, new ideas, new blog banner ;) and new opportunities where anything is possible. (Even though I am far from a resolution maker - I gave those up as part of a resolution long ago...and it's been the only one I've ever kept! ;))
I believe 2007 will be an exciting and adventurous one for me and my family. There are some wonderful things in the works for all of us and I can't wait to share with all of you.
I hope this New Year brings you wonderful new beginnings and everything you've ever dreamed of!
XO
Kelly
