Because I Love You...

Because it's almost Valentine's Day and because I love you guys AND because I have some of the best blog readers out there, I wanted to do something extra special for you. I have managed to get my little hands on a collection pack of each of the four new lines by BasicGrey just released at CHA Winter! AND...I want to give them away to you!

Photobucket

Yes, that's right! I'm giving them away before you can buy them in stores! And I need a good home for each of these collection packs. (Yes, that means there will be FOUR winners!!) So please leave me a little note here in the comment section with what you are doing for or love best about Valentine's Day and you'll be entered to win! Comments will be left open until Midnight (Eastern) Valentine's night!

Have a wonderful day!
xoxo,
k.

This is the second year in a row my hubby and I are using a Christmas gift certificate from his grandparents to take ourselves out for a Valentine's dinner :)

We have a fun family Valentine tradition - our kids hunt for their candy and treats just like an Easter hunt! It started over 10 years ago when my son was a toddler - he confused Valentines Day with Easter and woke up wanting to hunt for candy! We look forward to our Valentine's hunt every year!

I am going to spend Valentine's day with my mom. She has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home, but they do a really nice party for the residents. Then I thought I would take her shopping. She still loves the mall.

We don't really *do* Valentine's Day. Little extra things may occur, but nothing big. Except the year I was teaching 3rd graders in a city school. These kids were from mostly broken homes, impoverished, and many, unfortunately, could only count on whatever food they received at school. They didn't have good role models, so when my husband walked into my classroom that Valentine's Day, brought a rose and some chocolate (which I shared with my kids), it was the best feeling ever. Because I could show these kids a functional relationship. And, so, what do I love the most about Valentine's Day? Probably that it guides people to show their love to one another when otherwise they may not think to.

Well, our kids are out of school here so 2 other families are coming over and we are going to do crafts, games, eat and have fun. Then we are going to have a sweet, special family dinner with just our family using our special china and sweet treats!
An awesome giveaway. Thanks for sharing!

wow, your prize rocks! I adore Basic Grey!
So what am I doing for Valentines day?
I'm making a heart dinner :o)
a Meatloaf shaped like a heart, mashed potatoes..shaped in a heart..then using a tiny heart cookie cutter to make a tiny heart shaped hole for the gravy. A salad with the tomatoes and cheese shaped in hearts. And some heart shaped rolls. Are you getting the heart theme yet? he he
Then for dessert..heart shaped fudge!

I love that we take time 1 day a year to celebrate our love. Sometimes the daily needs of life take over. It's good to slow down and honor those we love.

My little baby girl has rsv right now, so I'm not really willing to take her anywhere or put that on grandma for a couple more weeks. So I get to spend Valentine's cuddling with my sick little girl.

I love making Valentines with DD! The boys, alas, prefer store-bought Valentines. But now Katie and I create and embellish together and it makes Valentines Day so much more fun.

Thanks for such a generous giveaway!! We just had a "fancy" dinner at home, which is perfect for us ... we're (more me) is so anti- Valentine's Day. But I'm not complaining about the excessive amounts of chocolate we've accumulated today ;)

With our anniversary next week, Valentine's Day isn't that big of a deal for us, HOWEVER, we do exchange cards & go out to dinner (not on the 14th) and I always always always make chocolate covered strawberries for the hubs & take them to him at work.
This year, of course, our plans include three toddlers & a baby so there was also a heart-shaped pizza on the menu. : )

YAY!
Thanks for the chance to win! : )

xoxo.
