How amazing is this man? It was unbelieveable to watch history made tonight. I've just been in awe of him all Olympics - of his grace, his speed, his strength, his sportsmanship, his dedication, his relationship with his mom, but most of all, his humility. Congratulations, Michael. I've been cheering for you with all of the USA.

Hey Kelly I am in Australia and I have loved Michael Phelps for as long as I can remember, he is my favourite athlete and I think he is an AMAZING individual and a great sportsman.
I am so glad he was able to get that record and I am sure it is going to stand for along time coming :-)

Kelly, I totally agree, we were watching last night, we were out eating, but went inside to the bar area to make sure to watch, everybody cheered, it was an awesome moment!!!!

I have a son who was a swimmer and I know the sacrifices they make. He deserves this great achievement.
