What a great giveaway! My favorite thing about the holidays is obviously being with family I don't get to see the rest of the year - the "out-of-towners". But the less obvious answer would be all the pretty, sparkly colors and decorations. You just have to be in a good mood when you are around that much glitter!
Picking out the tree. I know it's cold and hubby isn't amused when I take forever choosing the PERFECT tree....but the smell and the atmosphere gets me right in the mood for Christmas!
It's hard for me to pick just one thing about the holidays, so I pick ALL OF IT! The time spent with family, the decorations, the holiday specials on TV, the food... everything.
The part I like best about the holidays is the time spent with family. Everyone is so busy it's good to have that time.
I love that people have a generally happier demeanor around this time of year!

My favorite thing about this time of year is all the traditions- decorating, baking, crafting, foods, family, etc.
The S&CT mag is always great, but there is something about the holidays ones that I really love!! and pagemaps has been a fav of mine for years. It seems like Christmas is a favorite of mine to scrapbook. Thanks for the chance to win :)

everyone has said such wonderful things.....so I'll add something a bit different. I love that during the holidays all those people who kinda look down their noses at "homemade" stuff are the ones to oooh and aaah at all the cool things crafty people make for Christmas: cards, ornaments, etc. tee hee hee!

What a fab giveaway! I just love the Christmas markets we have here in Germany. Hot Glühwein and some typical Christmas food outside under the stars with all those pretty lights. Can't get better than that!
We just finished the decorations and I'm looking forward to the baking next week-end. December is the month of staying indoors and doing preparations for the big day!! Also LOVE the brads on the cover. Must be done on a futur layout.

I love so many things about the holidays, but my most favourite part is being able to connect with my family (immediate and extended) and spend quality time together. This Christmas will be hard ... I just lost my sister to breast cancer two weeks ago. But she would want us to be together and enjoy one another, and so we will - for her.
