And even though my kiddos are still in school (until the 8th thanks to all the snow we had here in Kentucky this winter!), we're getting into summer fever here! That includes trips to the pool, home improvement projects, popsicles, sprinkers AND spring, er, SUMMER cleaning!

As a family we are going to spend a week at the beach with my parents. Otherwise it's as much R&R as we can squeeze in. We are staying put this year. Lots of pool playing at home, parks, and getting to know and finding things to do around our town. We just moved from California to Texas so we will be knowing our new home and hopefully making new friends.
We are going to Arkansas to visit relatives. Sounds like we are going to have a bit of weather shock. In Oregon it's rainy and in the 50's. It's well in the 90's there!

Winter is here in Australia.but we are planning a family holiday to kick off Summer.

Lotsa' hiking and biking, backyard BBQ's, family get togethers... and visits from our adult kids who live out of state...yipee!
Summer will be relaxing for us - we move into our new "forever" home on June 26 and will spend the rest of the summer enjoying the yard with the kids! I suppose we will also be unpacking lol
We are headed to San Antonio. Planning on doing Sea World, Six Flags and some Resort pool time. Looking so forward to it.

Oh do I need a dose of summer! It's done nothing but rain all day -ugh. Assuming the weather starts cooperating... we are planning on spending lots of time at the park, pool and playground this summer. We're also looking forward to some time at our cabin with family and friends.

Sounds you have some fun plans for this summer! We are going to Hawaii later this summer to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary!! We got married on Maui and will be visiting the Big Island this time - I *can't* wait!
Our plans this summer is to make our new house a beautiful home and turning my scrap room into my dream room and lots and lots of pool time in our pool.
We plan to hole up inside the house and lie underneath the air conditioner until the miserable Las Vegas summer passes. :)

My daughter doesn't get out of school until June 16. On June 18 we leave for our family's house on the lake and we stay there until the last week of August. I'm lucky that I can do my job from anywhere that there's an internet connection, so we go up there and enjoy the lake, mountains, hiking, sailing, swimming, etc. My daughter is the fifth generation in my family to spend her summers there, and the first generation to see if completely modernized. Such great memories are made there!

I am a single mom, go to college and work full time...so i am taking some time off school to relax and spoil my little girl...so needed!! She is almost 8 and she is starting into scrapbooking so I think it will be fun!
Having a family reunion at my house. Everyone is traveling down then the rest of the summer, just relax and go to the pool.
I plan on taking my kids on several day trips. We are busy with baseball practices so I hope to be able to fit it in.
